My fav show on TV, although Heros is quite entertaining as well.

for subwoofer outlawaudio lfm-1 the best sub u can buy for under $600.00
for center channel look for a used sonus faber
I gotta come by and check out this beast
I still think its too big for that room! It must look beastly.
I can see it great for video gaming or HT, but for everyday use unless you are sitting opposite wall it may be too much, specially the kids. The rule of thumb is typically 5 x the width of the picture. This means that a person should watch TV on a 42" television from a distance of 15 feet. This is proposed by people that study the human eye, not those that sell televisions.
Might want to get your kids vision checked frequently if you are going to be have the tele on for them while they play in there, or keep it off for them and/or limit their viewing. Too close and too big...causes strain and eye fatigue. Also keep the lighting optimal in there for them if they are viewing the screen.
I might bring my Xbox360/HD player combo to check that ish out

and the picture is definitle sharper, the blacks richer on the HD DVD...i mean you start to see the caked on makeup on these movie stars in layers...and its only @ 1080i HD on my old rear projection.
On TV, the majority of the HD networks broadcast in 720p.
So Don, now that you got a big ol' diesel TV ...might want to be more selective in those bootlegs. They likely will look even worse on that TV. Dont think HD DVD/BlueRay-Recorders or HD bootlegs will be around anytime soon at an affordable fashion. For the meantime I'm getting my fix with Netflix for HD releases..

Thats why I have Blockbuster. I am Very selective in my bootlegs and generally wtch em to watch, not so much truely enjoy em.
Actually the majority of major networks use 1080i, but not much of a difference there. 99% of premium channels also use 1080i. IE: HBO is 1080i.
