Most likely I'll be picking up an Alpine mrd 605 from my best friend who has one, still brand new, sitting in his closet and for $150 I can't beat that deal, and so an alpine f345 or f545 will most likely be my 4 channel. I have PG titanium waiting for some juice, so the sub will come last if at all, depending on what it adds to the front.

So you are planning on running a D6 set and Kicker midbasses? One to be a dedicated midrange? Dual midbass? What processing is being used here? Any reasoning behind your choices? To be meant as constructive criticism...I see alot of flaws with this.

Of course the fleabay route doesnt help, especially with sonic...

I just used those places as references and also realized that i posted the 6 1/2s and not 5 1/4s. I'll get everything locally.

that was my next question about where to crossover the mb and the comps
sub 80 and down
mb 70-300 or so
comps 300 and up

I honestly am not a fan of the DAs anymore. Much better can be had with your money. Also the Kickers and D6s will not blend well at all for an active frontstage. This is my strong opinion, but My opinion none the less.

IF I was to use them, I would need to know details of the sub first.

Why not just get a 3 way set?
