Basslink shutting down after 1 min or so

I just picked up a brand new Infiniti Basslink. I have it wired up to my rear speaks on my bose via speaker level inputs. It only plays around a minute before the basslink shuts down and the power light powers off. Any guesses what it could be? I suspect I have a bad unit with a flakey amp that is just going into shutdown. Any guesses if something is wrong w/ my setup? I'm using the auto sensing turn on as well.

Try to get it replaced for another unit since its brand new it should still be under warranyt unless you purchased it un-authorized.

I hear ya. Trust me I've had plenty of "real subs" in my days. Now I'm learning blowing $180 on a simple little powered sub is borderline grounds for divorce in the married world. I didn't dare ask if a 10w7 was an option.

Anyway, I have it up and running now. Seems the auto turn on function is flakey so I ran a remote wire from the Bose sub amp on the rear deck. It's running great now. But as a guy who used to have a couple 12's I'm pretty underwhelmed thus far. I was hoping to feel a good kick in the back of my seat. No dice yet. I'm hoping removing the old bose to port the rear deck will get me there. If not, back to Ebay it goes and I'll begin nogotiation on a "real sub"!

Okay, after some tuning and removal of my factory bose sub, I have to give credit. It hits pretty well! I can certainly feel it in the back of my seat. Seems to be a great compliment to the Bose system. Anything louder would outdrive the factory system. Amazing deal for $180.
