Where can I get a double din dash kit that will work with a 2000 Maxima with Bose? I've found the wiring harness / kit I need already, now I need a dash kit.

Thanks,

Y2J

There is also one behind the tach. It's in the middle plug (pink wire) behind the guage cluster.

Fantastic! My installer didn't hook up the illumination wire so the D3 enter night mode. Other than that, I'm loving it!

For a 2001 AE the speed wire is also behind the cluster the pink wire? Is there another place I can get to it?

I got my D3 installed the other day. I used both the PAC adapter and the metra harness and with both of them when the volume was turned all the way up to 40 it sounded like it was on 12. When it was on 12 there was no sound coming out at all. I checked all of the connections and everything is fine. I have bose, is this how it is gonna be? I am thinking about just switching everything out. So i dont know what the problem is since I used both methods. Crappy bose, I just wanna break it.

The pac should be adjustable. If you're having that much of an issue, get the scosche adapter that is adjustable. Installed two d3's with that to the stock 3rd gen alti bose and it sounded fine.

Unfortunately its not crappy bose, but low preouts.

A line driver will clean that up without the injection of noise via a convertor.
