someone had one for their 5th gen a while back from the same company. they said it was decent quality.. as long as its 3/4" MDF, and sealed (dont have to worry about false tunings) it'll probably be fine. go for it..

If you like the layout then ask them if you can just buy the front panel, then slap it onto a prefab of your choice. Itll be the same and save ya nearly $100

or just make your own front panel. take some cardboard and make a templet. then trace onto some MDF and cut. carpet. done.

I'm having a buddy of mine make something like that for me. It will be a custom design and some other stuff will be added with it.

I saw that last week, was tempted to buy it, but think I might make my own box and have a similar face for the box for a clean look. it will be definitely cheaper to make my own as well.

Any ideas where to mount amps for a vented enclosure with 2 12's?

isn't it bad to mount amps upside down though?

If it's a decent amp and is getting decent airflow it should be fine. Some amps fan out towards the sides so it's ok.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree, I have a decent amp and decent airflow and when I fart it has a nice bass

I actually have no expertise in audio

yeah, its ok to mount some amps upside down...hell if not all. i remember there was a rather big thread over at CA.com regarding this matter...and they found no ill effects of mounting amps upside down (while given sufficient airflow around it)
