a weight reduction nuts plea for lightweight speakers

Ok anyone know of any companies that make the lightweight neodenium speakers.

size 6.5 inch and for audio purposes.

iam a weight reduction lover and iam always looking for lighter parts

and please dont tell me to take a ****.

Well for beginners remove the rear speakrs altogether their not really necessary.

you wont really find speakers designed with that in mind...

its either you have a fast car thats light, or a nice sounding system but the car will be a little heavier. its give and take a little..

do you realize how little 6.5" speakers weigh? 1 gallon of gas weighs more than a pair of 6.5's.

ok guys thganks for the responses.

as for the weight of my front speakers i just weighed them and i think there way to heavy for small 6.5 inch speakers.

ok without the housing ( 7.2 oz ) with the adapter plate my 6.5 inch clarions SRR 1624 coaxial 2 way speakers weighed 3lbs 12.0 oz for both .

i think almost 4 lbs is to much ,and hoping the neo speakers will save 40-50 % of that weight
