Had the weirdest fuse problem...

So when I was installing my + battery to alternator cable as part of the big three, I accidentally forgot to disconnect the battery, so some sparks flew but no damage done. BUT...I then noticed my dome light did not work, nor my HID fog (hooked to a relay to battery). So today I went to diagnose the problem, took apart the dome assembly, checked my relay, made all the wires were tight...etc. Then I moved to the fuse box, I took out the fog fuse and interior light fuse in the driver's kick panel. The fuses were fine so I put them back, then bam! Everything worked again ....so is this normal? Or am I just lucky.

It just reset. Pulling the fuse re- reset it. Good stuff.

So pulling the negative terminal won't reset a fuse? But actually pulling the fuse will? Something new everyday...
