Coaxials?

Right now I'm looking to purchase some coaxials 2/3 ways for my rear speakers. So far my friend showed me the Infinity Kappa. I'm trying to find some speakers that aren't too expensive and have decent SQ. I'm looking to spend less than $90.

unless you amplify them and deaden the doors...any name brand should do fine. your frontstage SHOULD render them useless anyway. For a few bucks more you can snag some rainbow coaxials which sound damn good for coaxials.

You can get dreamlines at or below that budget, I think.

And really you don't want too much out of the rear. Main focus should be on the components up front. To keep from pulling away from the front stage, you may also want to consider midbass speakers for the rear.

Don't even bother buying anything for the rears--totally unnecessary and worsens sound quality

i wouldnt say it worsens sound quality...

just not really nessecary when you have a clean, powerful front stage.
