How much to install entire system?

I usually do this myself but I'm way too busy nowadays. There's this custom audio shop close to my work that looks decent. I have most of the equipment:

- HU already installed
- 4 speakers
- single sub pre-wired for 1ohm in box
- 2 amps
- RCA cables

about how much should a full install be... $250-$350? I'll be sure to get an estimate before taking it in.

it really all depends, my old shop charged 85$ an hour, mainly because the equipment wasnt bought from us, but we were usually pretty fair we would only charge them for 2-3 hours for something like that

try a local CC...if not DIY or try a small audio shop. Tweeter is worthless like BB.

I disagree to an extent. Ive known very good installers down here at Sound Advice (same as Tweeter). There are good and bad installers everywhere, no matter where you go, big box chain or smallest possible shop. Its just a matter of knowing the installer who works on your car.

Circuit City would be pretty close to 200, maybe a little more if the front speakers are components which you didnt specify. Do you have any local forums? i.e. I have tamparacing.com down here, which I could post up if I didnt know...Personally Id try and seek out a good shop or installer from local enthusiasts.

To Tweeter's credit out of all the shops I called they were the most professional. He wasn't rushing me and gave me a full estimate right over the phone, even broke down the cost. My brother took his TSX there for his stereo and complained they made several scratches on some interior panels, which they replaced through Acura without a fuss. If I was making double what I do now I'd go with them but since I'm a broke azz I have to be a little bit sensible.

Try a different Tweeter. I would say you will prolly be able to get a better deal When i worker there it was 35 to install a pair of coaxials 75 for components. 65 for the amp 50 for the box and test everything so on my guesstimate it should be (35+35+65+65+50) But then that would change if you had components!
