so i just had an offer...

from some dude on campus that wanted to buy my 1500-xxk. he's in my physics 2 lab, and we started to talk car audio. he's running all kenwood gear, and he asked what amp i was running. i said it's an arc amp...he sorta chuckled...and said "you mean that radio shack brand? dude those don't put out anywhere near what they're rated at bro...you should get this kenwood amp"

more talk followed...i simply played dumb...

then he offered me 150 and some mint Jordan shoes for my amp...since his dad is looking for a cheap amp to power his 15" fosgate p3.

long story short i said no, and thanks for the offer.

By the thread title, I thought this was an indecent proposal thread.....

I was wrong. I admit though, there was a time when I had no idea that Arc was anything. Radio Shack.......silly.

Yeah, but so many people base the "quality" of a system off of how much their hair buzzes, and don't actually listen to how clean/clear the music is.

Moral of the story: most people think bass makes a good sounding system.

You don't think his 1500xxk and 15" won't do that?

Take some pics

He might have a decent sounding all kenwood setup if its all excelon stuff, and its all at least 3 years old...... it MIGHT live up to 1/2 of what a low level rainbow system might sound like
