Xplod System
Xplod System
I know when I got this system in my audi, Everyone and there momma told me sony wasnt good but anyways I went ahead and bought two sony Sony XS-L123P5B which are 12" 1300W 4-Ohm Subwoofers, And they were connected to one Sony XM-2002GTR which is a 1200W 2-Channel Car Amplifier. Anyways I want to add another amplifier too this setup. I dont know anything about car audio though, Can you tell me if I can do it and would it be too much power or should I just use the single channel amps and use two of them. (but then I would have to buy two of those and I rather use this one)
Wow, that sub can handle 1300 Watts! lol. Your amp is rated at 200 watts rms x 2 or 500 watts x 1 at 4 0hms. You could purchase another amp and run 500 watts per sub instead of 200. A better idea would be to sell everything and talk to Don.
zOmG Dont add another amp. Save yourself a future of misery and crap. Sell both subs and amp. Get a new amp and sub combo from a reputable manufacturer and call it a day.
Your welcome in advance.

well personally im a jl fan, your best bet is to go around to some shops and listen to there sound boards. Definatly stay away from sony, bazooka, jvc, jense, pyle, and theres tons of other stuff to stay away from too. Personally if i were in your situation and wasnt a audio fanatic i would let don use his jedi mind powers, and let himput some ideas in your head haha. Im sure hell gladly help you
