How can I remove power connector to Bose Sub 2000 SE

Yes, I know its very simple, but I just cant get it. The bose sub power connects with a brown colored square jack in the trunk. On the sides are two black push in release clips. But it just isn't working for me and worried I may damage it.

I saw another guy unclip it by using needle nose pliers and pushing into a black U shaped piece and then pulling on the connector at the same time.

Is there another way to do it?

It takes a little prying out of the clip but its possible. Ive just done it to disconnect it. Use a small flat head screw driver and shimmy the clip out with it little by little.

yup, get a flat head screwdriver to push down the clip and if u can't get a good grip, pull on the wires while the clip is pushed back. and why are you starting a new thread when you could have just asked this in your old thread that was just made yesterday.. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=520902 reusing old threads help cut down spams when people try to search the forum later on =)
