RCA Interconnect Length

Haven't seen a post for this yet. Does anyone know how long I should get the interconnects from the H/U to a AMP for a 4th gen max. I'm planning on running the power down the driver side, and the RCA down the passenger side. Just want some opinions

25' RCAs should be plenty...if that is what your asking. 20' would work as well but you might be more limited where you can put your amps in your trunk...

if your going to be seperating all the wires why not run the RCAs down the middle, POWER and Remote down the driver's side and the speaker cables from the amp to the front sound stage up the passenger's side...? make sure you get shielded speaker cable and actually ground the shield. ground your RCA's shielding as well. electrically that would be the best solution afaik.

oh and when you do you install do it once and do it right. and what i mean by that is take your time, make it look good, make sure everything is secure and correctly fastened down, MAKE A GOOD GROUND, and don't cheap out on parts: if you were thinking you would only need 8awg get 4awg etc it will save you the rewire you'll need in 6 months and a bunch of headaches when your wondering why this amp or that amp shut off and your tearing it out every weekend finding a wire fell off or a remote became disconnected etc...

good luck. let us know what system your going to be running...

20' is plenty, 25 is almost too much. hell, even 18 and 17 should be enough..

ive been looking at the Stinger Hyper Series. I originally wanted to go with red wiring, but it seemed like everytime i turned around I kept getting blue wiring (amp kit came with blue and clear, blue 0gauge stinger for big 3 upgrade). So I think I might switch. I'll probably go with 1 set of 4 channel and a set 2 channel interconnects.
