Help with building a system.
Help with building a system.
A friend of mine is getting ready to buy components for his system. He just wants a quality, simple system. He's already decided on:
Pioneer headunit
Kicker subs
What would be a good amp to compliment those subs (preferably available from that site)? Is there anything else he needs to buy?

i would stay away from pioneer decks.
anyhow, i'd give the rainbow soundlines a try. they're hard to beat for the price. i was running them for awhile, and loved how they sound.
Pearl96Max can help ya out with them.

Great Head unit if you get one that works without pre out issues. I love mine

Soundlines are an excellent choice, there are always other options as well within the same level of pricing/sound. Hertz makes quite a few different component sets that your friend may want to consider.
As for an amp from that site... none as well as no other equipment from that site. On-line sales =

go to a local car audio shop. that's what i'm doing except for the HU. i'm getting it off of crutchfield to get the free indash kit and wiring harness. and plus, if there's any problems, you can take it back without shipping.
Don carries both of those brands, i believe. Just contact him...
and id stray away from pioneer until they fix their whiny preout issue....
might as well get a kicker amp for the subs if you're set on those, they're reliable and pretty powerful.
