I have an 06 max, non bose. I want more bass, i was thinking of buying a 12"W7 and powering it with my 1000w punch power amp, but i dont want to switch out the head unit and i dont really want to give up my trunk space. would yall recommend any smaller subs to put on the rear deck. i want mad bass but i dont want to lose any space. I know kinda hard to do but im sure its possible.

 

You can pretty much use any sub you want in the rear deck and how much work you do and what driver you chose will determine if your bass will be mad tyte y000o.

you can make a slim box, and ported it to the side of box that can fit between the wheel wells. a solid 12" sub can provide plenty of bass, and still retain a good amount of trunk space left.
