4th Gen Antenna solutions?

A coworker of mine has a 98 max that was recently stolen. When he got it back, the stereo and speakers were gone (and more). The thieves CUT the antenna plug off, but left the rest of the harnesses intact.

I've already wired up a harness for him to install a new HU, but there's no way to connect the antenna. What's the best way to add one? It's 112 degrees today and I really don't feel like running a whole new one from the trunk It's a non-bose non-powered antenna.

just get the male end of an antenna (an adapter) from an audio store, and solder the center line to the center line, and outer line to the outer line. viola
