Talk about service

My CD7100 was having some issues reading discs and ejecting them. Called up Don, he talked to eclipse, got a replacement the next day from the warehouse..... brand new. Does it get any better?

That's good to hear.

My CD7000 is out for repair . Shipped it out yesterday. The display was acting up at times. The cool thing is that I contacted eclipse, and they shipped me a prepaid box to send it in to them.

Should I worry about getting another CD7000? 2 different issues in this small forum. That would suck, I was looking forward to testing it.

Thats not correct. Expedited exchange is for 12-18mos from Eclipse. I did yours through the locals and That has 30 days.

Why would you worry? The two case arent even the same unit and your definately protected against possible failure. Besides what else stacks up?

True. I can't wait till I get the cash from my friend who got the other one. I was supposed to hear from him today, but didn't. I will have to call him again on Mon. I told him for the free install, he should buy me the CD7100. We shall see how much he gives me.

Just checked on the status of my CD7000....the parts they need for the repair are on order. I think the customer support for warranty issues is awesome, not only did they take care of the whole shipping process, but they also let you check the status of the work online.

Yes they do, but Juan you should have been covered under expedited exchange not Diamond Service. You should ask them about that.

I emailed Eclipse and they told me that my unit was not eligible for the expedited exchange service. I bought it last August, they told me that this is only good for the first 30 days after purchase.

LoL PM me the name of the person that you spoke with. Someone is going to be in trouble.

I have a listing of all eligible products and its updated/distributed quarterly. Second quarter that HU was still on it. Sale date is irrelevant.
