I just installed one in my 240, but viper says that it needs to be activated by the authorized dealer who installed it, so my question is, anyone around here can hook me up with this "activation", I need to do this before I can create an account, im in orange county, and La county anywhere in those areas is fine.

They also said that it could be activated by phone, so im assuming that the dealers have some sorth of special code to do this.
PLEASE HELP, I have an expensive little box in my car thats doing nothing for me!...

Why not just have the dealer you purchased it from handle that? OR .. you bought it unauthorized and now expect someone to just 'help you' ? Not to sound harsh, but you took the easy/cheap way out, dont expect support when doing so.

for me as a former installer for a consumers electronic store, its really hard to pay retail, specially knowing the kind of markup there is on some of this things, I did the installation my self and save another couple hundred bucks there, is it a crime?, you tell me.
And yes im trying to find someone to help me, if its not to much to ask, I know this "activation" does not take much, just a simple call, but I guess im asking to mouch.,

Thats all well and good, befriend a dealer then. What your asking can potentially put the dealer at risk. Its not a small favor your asking. No its not a 'crime' but after chopping the dealers you want one to put their neck on the line?
