Amp and Sub install questions

While, after installing a new head unit and speakers I have decided to add a Rockford Fosgate 400.4 4 channel punch amp and a self amplified Infinity Basslink. I am going to start installing tomorrow, but have a few questions that can hopefully be answered. I have a 3rd gen Maxima, where should I mount the sub, amp, distribution blocks. I was thinking I would mount the amp in the trunk in the rear (like where the rear seat is) on that flat panel. Is this panel sturdy enough to hold the amp? Where else would be good to mount it? Also where should I mount the sub. Is it necessary to drill all the way through the trunk? If so, where is a good place to mount it away from brake lines, gas lines, and the gas tank. Also I purchased an amp kit from Rockford Fosgate and the power wires have arrows pointing in one direction, does this mean the wire has to go a certain way? Also where are the best places to run cables on a 3rd gen to help minimize noise? Anybody have pictures of a similar setup in a 3rd gen? Thanks

Okay, with the 2 remote wires from the HU, I'm sure that's fine because there isn't much signal in the remote wire anyway. With the mounting, you could mount the amp to the back of the seats, all it is is a piece of boarding so that'd be fine. And with the sub, make sure you don't drill into the bottom metal part of the trunk, that's where the gas tank is. So i'd make a new floor for the trunk out of wood and just mount it on that...

Also run rca's on one side of the car and power and remote on the other side.

My recommendation would be to use a jig saw and a 5\8" piece of MDF (partical board) and cut it to fit the back of the trunk and back seat, with access hole. Cover it with trunk liner carpet (speaker box carpet). Then mount the Amp and Basslink to the board. YOu wil get a very strudy place to attach both items and It will look clean to boot. As far as the remote wire is concerned, yes you can attach both amps to it.
