this thread is going to get locked...i can already see it...

there's nothing wrong with JL. they're just good at marketing and such, and people simply follows what seems good to them. are they sh*tty? by all means no. they're not bad, if the price was more reasonable.

the performance/price ratio on JL products isn't too appealing IMO, plus the customer service isn't really up to par.

Invalid poll, you need to have an option for "I've bought them before and will not buy them again" as that would best describe me.

It should have been locked or never started, it serves absolutely no purpose. Although if I locked or closed it Id be the bad guy covering something up. So .... lets see where it goes.

I've been in don's car with flatlines and idmax's.....now THAT HURTS.
I HAD the "king of all subs" JL 12w7 before feeding it the proper wattage. For that price....there are MUCH better subs.

why should I go to your shop and use your RTA! Why dont we just go to a nuetral spot and everything will be fair that way! you let me know. I have a few judges from some of the IASCA comps imeet in Carisle. I also have a shop in Concord Pike we can get at ! Or we can do it in the hood in Camden!

A neutral spot is fine - Johnson park in NJ.

Whats the problem with my RTA? Its sanctioned and calibrated.

I have two installers I deal with on Retainer, drop the car off tell them what I want and they get it done. Its really a barter system no cahs money exchanged you know! I know you know how to barter! I am actually waiting for my dyns to come in ! I currently have the older 182's! Then i have to fix the factory deck from the CD skipping! Unless I put my old Nakimichi head in but I will lose the NAV! So we will see, I am going to let them know what you got and they will let me know what i need to come close with you!

JL makes good products but they are far too expensive for what you get. There are many small engineering companies and build houses that make great products for much less money.

Thats not exactly fighting fair, so Im open to change anything and everything I want to as well now? Although I really dont find the need.

Older 182s = 180s.

OEM HU? What processing?

Wouldnt the point be to exceed me, not come close?

And ... FYI ... you can use an aftermarket deck with OEM Nav, your installers should know this.. So if you wanna throw that Nak in feel free. If you want to have more fun I can swap HUs as well .. Nak CD700,Denon DCT-1,Clarion DRZ or keep my F1 in..
