how much power can this thing handle? (not that i'm going to send full power to it, but the rated 600 rms seems a tad on the conservative side)

 

The design on both of those subs put my JL 12W7 to shame.. lol

how much power did you feed it?

 

I ran it with 2 different amps...
First the DLS Ultimate A6 which was about 800 something watts rms at 2 ohms

Then I consolidated my amps and got a DLS RA50 5channel. The Sub channel outputted around just under 400 watts rms at 2ohms

It liked the 800 watts better.

Man. i wish my JL was that easy to power.. 3 ohms sucks ***.. i think ima find like a 4 ohm 8in and put it on my deck and see if it goes down to like 2ohm if i wire it in parallel... :P

severe weather ftl. i almost flooded out my car today

Balmy 70deg here today, probably the nicest day of the year thus far.
