There was a Kobalt one at Lowes with built in speakers, a built in Pioneer Head unit, and a built in fridge. I'm surprised Donny doesn't already own one.
Mine is quite big enough with the two smaller ones 15 and 20 feet away ! plus the full size fridge is only 10-12ft away too.

Ill be working towards a newer Snap-On soon enough though !

Whats holding it in place? Ive been wanting to do this on my A32. I can do what youve got done in the pic, but when it comes to keeping it in place I'm kinda stumped.
I'd rather not do what I did before... Layers of weather stripping between the EQ's and HU, zip-tied in place.

it's actually screwed into the metal cage behind the dash. i just drilled some holes in the cage, and used the screws that came with the EQ to hold it in place.

cell pic cus I'm lazy:

you get the idea. Still getting used to the power, coming from an essentially stock 4th gen. loving every minute. The interior color is poo, clashes with the silver. Wish it was black or some dark color but instead its some funky gray color, but I can deal

First mod is nav (with my eclipse/rainbow setup) then suspension a little down the road.

cool sounds good. moar pics!

speaking of the 791...regarding the auto defrost command...does it need to be setup/installed or is it already programed to do so from the factory?

rear defrost?

If you are talking about rear defrost, I don't think they have a dedicated rear defrost wire, however, you could just use the AUX wire, and turn it on yourself (you dont want the defrost coming on every single time you RS, right? this way you can choose). Just need to hook it up to the defrost.. depending on the car may need to add a relay however.

well i was reading the manual trying to remember how to turn off the damn backlight on the remote when i saw that there's a feature to turn the rear defrost on. i think you hit lock, star, and aux buttons at the same time when you RS...it'll kick in rear defrost. tried it today, it didn't work

No it would definately need to be hooked up before it worked, at all. Didn't realize they had an output for it, cool. Need to get it back to an installer if you want it done.
