FYI, you can fit 8's in the front doors, and 10's with a bit of customization

MF'in reman'd starter I bought is a POS. Sitting there for 45 seconds cranking away until it starts. Gotta go raise hell at Strauss.

This is when I'm starting with key. The RS tach value shouldn't be referenced when I'm using a key, correct?

you mean a R'maned starter solenoid or a remote starter?

Thought you meant an RS, no nothing to to with the RS, my bad. been there before with a buddy btw, he went through 2 dud alternators for is 2000 max before he finally went somewhere else and got one that worked.

Yep, the actual starter mounted to the engine that starts the car. Not the remote start.

*attempts to revive thread*

so lately i've noticed that the iridium midbass in my doors...doesn't seem to be playing as low as the germanium mids i had in there long time ago. i messed with the crossovers and the EQ...but there still seems to be a little gap in the midbass territory. i know it sounds silly but the germs had more authority down low...but the iridiums sure can make my side mirrors shake like crazy.

so i'm guessing it's my tuning...any ideas?

Possibly tuning, possibly the drivers just not being built to play as low as the Germs. I know that for SLC midbass's those suckers play low as hell and will put a lot of bigger mids to shame.

yeah, the 8s are definately more punchy, but lower extensions are a bit weaker than the germ mids. guess i'll try to cross the sub a bit higher.

the dyn 8s have no issues in that area eh?
