It can't be in the same box since it was made for (3) 10" subs and my new subs are (2) 12" subs.

latest toy, a DD3512e...

yes this thread is back from the dead since i didn't want to make a new one.

Very impressive 12! It's loud as hell and it doesn't sound half bad either. Once I get my SPL bug fix I'll throw my DLS sub back in.

nah, haven't metered it, nor do i plan to lol. i just know the output is compareable, if not a bit more than my RLp 15. it can make your ears feel funny on certain songs

i built this box years ago for a Fi Q 12. i was too lazy to make a new box for the DD so i just widened the cutout to fit the DD.

the box measures to 2.2 net @ 30hz. even with the low tuning, there's a really bad peak in the freq response, which EQing helped a little bit. i can't imagine how peaky the thing would be if i made a box tuned to 40hz per DD specs.

but other than that, response is not bad. definately a sick street-beat sub, but i wouldn't recommend it for any true SQ oriented installs.

Yeah, I am super bored. My wife took my son to my Nana's house for a couple hrs. Figured I would drop in and say hi. I have my last 12 listed in a WTB thread on ca. It has been sitting in my closet for almost a year now. I think I might be done. I just don't have the extra income or even desire for something else. So you are and will def be louder than me from here on out.

meh, you'll be back into the SPL game in the near future when everything is calmer and what-not.

i haven't really done anything audio besides the DD purchase. no time nor the extra cash to do anything.

Maybe. I am having a blast being at home and getting to raise my son. We are planning on private school and trying to fix the house up a little bit. So there isn't any kind of budget for it for the foreseeable future. My focus has shifted 100% to giving him all the tools he will need that I never got.

Not to mention I am getting a bit old to keep twisting myself in and out of a vehicle. As soon as I can, 20 months from now with everything else remaining the same, will trade the F150 in on something else. After figuring out how much my cars have actually cost me with financing them, I will never finance anything again. But I am hoping to get enough cash for a nice used Escalade or Suburban. I need more room than either of the vehicles we have now afford.

ditto, i get tired more easily now than before...especially after a long day of clinical rotations. then again my fat @ss have gained about 30 lbs after i started dating. i just need to get to the gym again...

and yeah, having a family definately switches your priorities. hell, being in a serious relationship switched mine. i'm starting to think about housing...what neighborhoods are good to live in etc etc.

Yep, not ruling them out either. It will depend on cost and safety. My options are limited though as I will never own another Honda or Toyota. That really narrows the field.

Hey Don! Good to see you.

I have been sick since the beginning of October. Can't seem to get healthy. Going for blood work next week to try and figure out what the deal is. in the past 3 weeks I have had a bad viral infection and the day I thought I kicked that had chest x-rays and have pneumonia. I haven't been able to catch a break. lol

And I am decently sure Don never ages.

damn, we just need parag and nilesh and it'll be like the old days

nancy is already hinting what "family" car she would like for us to own one day. i think i'm going to settle for a SUV as well...leaning on the RX lineup from lexus, or the FX line from infiniti. but hell that's a few years from now so i'm not too concerned about that at the moment.

They symptoms change. Dr. says my lungs sound clear, but to me they still rattle. The fevers and chills/sweating, weakness, shortness of breath etc. It has given way to the sinus issues and coughing up green/yellow stuff. I still have zero appetite. I try and eat at least a couple times a day. I fill up quick. I have dropped 15lbs this past month. As of 2 days ago my body has started to feel better, so I hope that is a good sign. I don't feel like the anti viral and antibiotics have been able to knock it out though. Frustrated. We will see what the blood work says this next week.
