i did. "normal" thunder doesn't set it off...it's just those uber loud ones right overhead that shakes everything in your house that sets the alarm off...

nuisance mode kicked in though.

Did you go outside and start kicking the car while cursing at it?

soooo, i finally heard my cousin's hertz setup...and i gotta admit it sounds pretty damn good. the midbass is awesome, and the tweet is super detailed. he still needs a lot of tuning though, or somehow deaden the doors more. we then sat in my car...and my germs held their own.

i do need to send them more power though....

Don, any more XXK's in stock?

Oh and your cousin... silly boy. Theyre onto FX now and they think they know who the supplier is. Absolutely No warranties and they will keep what gets sent in and traced back to that person..

Ebay? Forums? Change out the 1500?

Did you not read what I wrote? Anything that gets traced back to that transhipper will get No warranty and will be kept !

Yes I meant the dealer. IE: If a customer sends something in that is traced back to that dealer they will not fix/replace/warranty anything. In fact they will keep it.

Same page now?

So buy one. Shopuld be cheap enough by now..

Nope, the cd7100 was tweaked like crazy and even ran flat every single time it sounded inconsistent. I put the 860 in, the outputs seem stronger than both cd7100's I had (maybe they say they're 8v but they're really 5? got me) It gets louder and sounds 10x cleaner than both cd7100's I had. No noise issues with it either as I purchased one from someone who was gonna accept it back had it had the issue.

I threw 860 in and even with the eq flat and the same xovers set as the CD7100 I had no peaks like I did with the CD7100 and it sounded SO much better. The outputs are STRONG and the sound is great, it doesn't get muddied up when I have the windows down and the enter front stage has come back to life. Also no hiss at 0 on the volume ****.

Doesn't explain why the CD7100 doesn't sound as good.

You can say I have bad hearing or blah blah blah the other things are still facts. The 860 being louder with NO hiss, explain that one? Not needing any eq to sound full and pretty well balanced with minimal adjustments?

Don't care what you say, you can make digs about me or my hearing but the fact is I'm much happier with the Premier and I could care less if it were pioneer or jvc or alpine or whatever, it SOUNDS better and thats the bottomline, I would put in a DUAL if it sounded better, I don't care what brand it is or whatever.
