I have a 92 SE. I am experiencing problems with my newly installed 10" Orion XTR Sub. My brother installed it with a Kenwood amp that's more than big enough to run one 10" Sub. Everything in the car is stock. The sub will not hit hard at all as it did in my last car. I can barely tell I have a sub in the trunk when I listen to it. My brother said there might be a weak signal from my HU. Do you think it might be my Bose head unit? Thanks for any info.

You have to tap into the speaker level output from the Bose speaker/amp system. If you are not sure, have it professionaly installed

Maximadave said it straigt up, u need to tap into that speakers with a high/low converter and use that as your RCA's that go into your amp!!

Thanks for everybody's help. I fixed it. Originally, I tapped into the wire going into the rear left amp. I changed it by tapping into the wired coming out of the amp going into the speaker. That made a world of a difference. Thanks.
