which is better?
is it better to have the bass on the amp ata higher level or from the headunit?? also on the amp where it has a level for the frequency...what does that do??? is it the higher the bass travels at a greater distance?
The gain should be turned down on the amp and the sub-output on your deck turned up. The crossover frequency should be at 80hz or below. 60-80hz is the norm for 8-12" subs, 15-32" subs should be 50hz or less.

Clarion makes a 32" sub, and another company makes a 6' sub, but I can't remember who. I'll look it up later.
Those subs are POS anyway. Was just a marketing gommick. I know that Audiobahn has listed a 34" sub on their porduct literature and on the website but I don't believe they've ever built one yet.
The 6 foot sub was built by Richard Clark I believe for a SPL setup, but it was disqualifiied I believe by recent rule changes....
