Anyone have any experience with Eclipse speakers?

I want to buy some 6x9's for the back and 6.5'' for the front from Maximadave. I listened to them at Tweeter and they sound nice but I just wanted to know if there are better options out there for the price.
Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks,
Roman

Roman, I know that the component sets from Eclipse sound darn good. If they stand behind all of their products like their head units, you can't lose. The speakers that I am mainly familiar with are the aluminum cone subs. A friend of mine has 4 aluminum 8 inch subs in the cargo area of a 4Runner and thos things hammer. You have to have a lot of power to push them but they are nice.

just installed my eclipse 82641's

got them from maximadave...you will not find a better price than his, believe me. plus he has great customer service.

for $80 a pair, these are the best sounding speakers for the price. they are really efficient, i have them hooked up to my Kenwood HU and they sound better than when i had an amp on my previous components. get them, you won't regret it.

nice nice.

Those are the 6.5'' speakers right? or are those teh 6x9's? Anyway...that is the model number I'm getting. I am pretty sure those go in the front.
I need some good highs..I already have a sub in the back which is enough for bass.

Thanks for the input all.

I have Eclipse 8062 6.5" components in the front of my car. They sound incredible. I've got a PPI amp giving them 90 watts per side and they rock. They are crossed over at about 90Hz.

You can see pics on my homepage.

62641's are the 6.5's, that's what you need if you have non-bose

I have the Bose and I was told you can pretty much put anything you want in there. Just have to do some custom work..that's all. So I think I'm going to put in the 6.5''
