Are the Audiobahn 12" aluminum sub good quality subs? Also what would be a good cheap amp to power these 1000w monsters?

If you want what is EASILY the cheapest bang for the buck amp.. Lanzar Vibe 1200D at www.national-electronics.com for $220 + s/h .. its under the specials section.

I have had one (bought it for a friend, got to install it for him) .. they work great.

But i'm not the only one .. try a search on Sound Domain to see what results others have had. Or theres a nice review at Carsound.com ..

http://www.carsound.com/reviews/amps/vibe1200d.html

Also, as a note... don't go for the pure number. Don't forget that the amps will only run max power at certain ohm levels. If your sub setup is 2ohm, the amp you choose will put out a different power level than it puts out at any other ohm.

www.ampmanaudio.com has an amp made by a company called ESX. It is said to be audiophile quality, HIGHLY underrated powerwise, and only around $265. I plan on getting one for my sub. BTW, the 2 channel is 575x1 at 4ohm, and 2ohm stable. ( and remember, its UNDERATED!!) I have read really really good things about this amp. Heres a pic of it.

http://www.teamamp.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000342.html Heres a writeup from someone that just got one.
