Basically my problem is simple. Whenever I wanna crank the bass up to a loud level, my trunk vibrates like mad! It sounds horrible. I heard theres some insulation from home depot you can get for pretty cheep ?? What kind would that be, and how did you go about putting it on.

I'm also going to tighten the trunk latch to hopefully elimate some of the problem, but I will need some padding.

Thanks for any help !

well when you have A LOT of power..there is really not much you can do. Spray Foaming and Dynamat only works a little but wont help you much. I have lots of beat in the trunk too and dont really mind the rattle because i cant hear it from the inside. All i can hear is my clean, crisp bass

How'd you get the dynomat on ?

You are right, it does sound very good inside the car, but HORRIBLE outside of it if you dont have any protection (like me )
