I am about to upgrade my non-Bose stock system in the next few weeks. I am a stereo newbie so I was wondering if you guys think I need a signal processor with this set up: Alpine 7949, Eclipse componenets for the rear, JL Audio components for the front, 1 Alpine 4x50, 1 Alpine 1X300.

U don't need anthing. An eq would give you adjutablity to taler the sound the way you want it. A line driver would give you less noise if you have any. Other things do otehr things. What are you looking at.
