Very nice!! A lot of hard effort that looks to be paying off with an awesome tailgating sound system. Congrats!

Hey--spotted your "BMW headlight conversion". Looks sharp! How did you do this? Was it simply a matter of luck, finding that the BMW headlight unit fits right in your 3rd gen, or did you have to do some mods to get it in? Would love to do this on my 4th gen, but there's definitely no way given the headlight design...

thanks... yea it does draw a lot of juice.. soon im gonna get a 2-3 farad strike cap for it (if anyone knows any good brands i'd appreciate their input). my friend has a 90' eclipse (has a smaller alternator) and is running just about the same wattage as i am, and his alternator just died so i wanna get that in ASAP.. as for alternator, i hope i dont have to get it rewrapped, but will if i have to. And as for DB test i hope to get it done tomorrow when i bring it to the shop. i will post it when i find out. Im thinkin if i port my rear deck i will gain 5-10 more Db so we'll see what happens

umm, i told them that i wanted the subs facing up and the amps facing out toward, because rockford amps cool themselves the best when they are positioned like so... believe it or not, this was probably the most compact/best looking box i could have gotten. as for sound, they sound awesome... my friend has 3 Diamond M3 12" dvcs inverted powered by a 1300 watt eclipse amp and mine sound better (that they should since eclipse subs are better, in my opinion). Im doubt the subs would have sounded any different if they faced the rear of the car, but im not a sound expert. Soon im gonna port the rear deck to maybe increase the SPL for a little competition.

MaximaDave - a place in Upstate New York did the install for me, they're called "StreetSounds" they do great install work, they did a nice job on my friends system so i talked to them about an install for mine. The installer is very meticulous and does great work
