Hey guys, just looking for an opinon on midrange speakers... which ones do you guys like the best at any price range? I've heard that Diamond Audios are the best from many people, I've noticed a lot of people on the Org have Eclipse stuff... I've never seen any of it for sale at Ultimate Electronics, Circuit City, or anywhere else how are they workin out for you guys? Also, what do you guys think of Focals and Bostons? I got some 4x6 Bostons w/ tweets in the front and Focal 6.5"s in the back... I just got a new sub/amp setup to replace my stolen Cerwin Vega Vega 12's w/ punch 800a2 and it actually sounds better than my old setup (my new system is in the sig) Which leads me to believe this: The car the system is in is one of the most important aspects in how good a system sounds.. my old one was in a Volvo, and despite being better overall probably, it didn't sound as good... and my current system in my friends Camaro (read hatchback) was a lot stronger, even though it's good as hell in mine. After that I'd say the amp is the most important thing and then box followed by subs... just some rambling thoughts..

 

Well, since you have Focal already, I would suggest getting those above the other brands. I'm not knocking any of the other brands and some think I do, but Focal is regarded as one of the higher brand speakers out there. Bostons are good, as is Diamond Audio, but you did ask my opinion
