Best 10" subs for a ported enclosure
OK, audio gurus! Here's one for you!
I currently have a ported box with a pair of 10" Kicker C-10s with a plexiglas cover. They kick pretty good, but I haven't used them for a couple of years . I have the box stored well (covered in plastic), and I want to add them to the system in my Max soon. My concern is that they may fail on me because of their age and lack of use, and if I must replace them, which way should I go? I don't plan on running more than 300W of power to my subs, in any case. So any suggestions will be appreciated. They were fed by a 2-Channel HiFonics Series viii amp (not sure how much it pushed out bridged). I still have this amp, and would like to use it for the subs because it would be less of a cost for me to have to buy another amp for the subs, but I lost the harnesses for the speaker wires, the ground/power and the remote switch. If anyone knows how I can get around this little problem as well, please let me know. I'm definitely a bass-head and I want my subs hooked up as soon as I can get them in there.
BTW - The box matches perfectly with the carpeting in the trunk of my Max, and I still have room - so it's a perfect fit!
Thanks for your advice/opinions in advance!
