ground melting????

ground melting????

my ground is melting.... whats this mean????? anyone know whats im doin wrong??? I used some remote wire that was supplied in my kit as ground cuz I ran out of speaker wire... is this the prob?????

yea its a 360 watt amp or sumthing like that(kicker zx460)... I used the bolt right at the trunk latch...

i don't think the remote wire is thick enough. just go out and buy some wire to match the gauge on the power wire, it's not that expensive.

I got it now... thanks all... I got slapped in the head my one of my freinds cuz he thought I was stupid

(left half the kit at another freinds house after I was kicked out of the parking lot by his parents)

having a melting ground is definitly a BAD sign that something isint right.

always remmember: use the same gauge ground wire that you are using for your power. That kicker amp requires 8gauge power/ground wire, so use it!
