I have a 92 GXE w/ out the Bose system. I have an aftermarket HU and rear speakers as well as an amp and sub. I was wondering if I should have bypassed the stock amp on the rears when i installed them? and if yes how i would go about doing that. when i did it, i just took the wiring thatr was running into the stock speakers and spliced it onto the wires from the new ones. Im not good with wiring and the colors and whatnot so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

 

When I had my 90 GXE I had aftermarket speakers running off the stock amp for about a year with no problem. It sounded decent also. I say leave it unless you plan to upgrade to a better amp.
