Bridging a headunit / Getting more RMS
Bridging a headunit / Getting more RMS
I know that most headunits can't handle a 2Ohm load, so I gues bridging them for my rear coaxials will be stupid.
However, if I just power the rear speakers with my 4 channel headunit, will the headunit automatically use the unused power of the front channels and use them for the rears?
Basically how can I maximize a 4 channel headunit to just power 2 coaxials?

The pioneer heads(maybee others) can bridge the rear chanells into one for a subwoofer. So if you wanna power just 1 coax could try that.
