Sub Wiring Question

k, pretty simple but i don't have a fuse to test on so don't answer if you don't know

2x4 ohm stable subs wired in parallel = 2 ohm load at the amp right?
Wiring in parallel = + terminal from box to - terminal from 1 sub to + terminal on second sub, then reversed starting from the - term on the box right?

Series wiring = + on box to + on first sub - to + on the subs and - to - on second sub right?

I don't want to wire in series because i live in utah and i don't think the amp will take all that heat, so i'm just going with a 1500x1 2 ohm stable wired in parallel but i want to make sure that that is correct parallel wiring.

2x4 ohm stable subs wired in parallel = 2 ohm load at the amp right? Yes, but if the amp needs to be 2 ohm mono stable. If you are useing a 2 channel amp, that means it needs to be 1 ohm stereo stable.

Wiring is wrong.
Parallel (two 4 ohm single voice coil subs = 2 ohms): (+) pos on amp to (+) pos on both subs, (-) neg on amp to (-) neg on both subs. Or use a jumper from one sub to the other.

Series (two 4 ohm single voice coil subs = 8 ohms): (+) pos on amp to (+) pos on first sub, from (-) neg of that sub to (+) pos of second sub, from (-) neg of second sub back to (-) neg on amp.

If you are worried about the amps heating up, go with the series wiring.
