AAI-NIS Alternator Whine and low volume??

Hey all, i have the aux adapter AAI-NIS with the 2 inputs in it. I seem to be getting an alternator whine at high volumes which changes with engine speed, and the volume is very low. Are there any fixes for these two things? Also, i was wondering where the best place to ground is that is close to the radio. Thanks in advance!!

PS: 05 maxima with Bose system, and no NAV

in order to do this, i would have to disassemble the aux adapter. Can anyone else recommend a better aux adapter for the 05 without NAV, that does not have the whine problem, or the low audio problem? Or, perhaps, how to fix these problems?

Why would you disassemble? Just clip the wire and reground.
