large format tweets

has anybody ran large format tweets in a 4th gen max. if so i would like to know where and some pictures if possible. thanks

IIRC thats just a tweeter that is in a large physical format.

This is a Large Format tweeter they just add a flange around the 1" tweeter, they allow better off-axis response, and overall a much better sound quality then a regular small format tweeter

Fiberglass is your friend, check out the recent issue of Car Audio & Electronics. They have a similar diy project featured that may point you in the right direction.

Usually the tweeters are in 13/16 inch size. The 1 inch or 1.5 inch tweeters are pretty "large".
