7" Microvision screen flipped!! Need advice!!

The 7" Microvision screen (from Redmax) decided to show everything in the upside-down mirror image. Also, while turned on it shows in pink rather than blue color. I am not sure as to why this is, but it's definitely aggravating.

I've tried various techniques to fix it but nothing worked. Perhaps it's the problem with the screen itself??!?!?

Has anyone had this issue w/ these screens??

Thanks

Sounds like the internals on the screen are going, especially if its not rendering colors correctly. Not the LCD itself, maybe the inverter.

Haven't a clue - is there a warranty? Have you tried contacting Redmax? Does he even deal with them anymore?

IF he doesn't, let me know, I have an account with them if you want to buy another.

Sorry for the late response but this should help you out some by using the remote:

1. Turn screen on
2. Hit MENU button on remote
3. Using the ADJUST buttons on the remote, highlight the SYSTEM SETUP option and select using the MENU button.
4. If the screen is mirrored then follow these steps:
a) Highlight the line that has the letters HOR in it
b) Select option by hitting the MENU button on the remote
c) Use ADJUST buttons until screen is back to normal and the line reads HOR NOR
5. If the screen is upside-down follow these steps:
a) Highlight the line that has the letters VER in it
b) Select option by hitting the MENU button on the remote
c) Use ADJUST buttons until screen is back to normal and the line reads VER NOR

This should help you get the screen back to normal viewing mode. You should be able to use the tint and color options to help with the funky miscoloring issues once you get the screen back into the right viewing mode.

As for Redmax he's a pretty busy guy outside of the Org and his business so it may be kinda hard to get in touch with him. I've got 3 screens from him over 5 years ago and have had no issues with none of them to date so far so its not like its a bad quality product.
