Problem with steering wheel volume control...5th gen

The steering wheel control on my 5th gen for the volume control sucks. For some reason it won't respond all the time, it takes a couple clicks for it to respond when increasing volume, going up on presets and selecting the mode. Anyone know how to fix this? Or where to get a replacement?

Replacement is 60+ dollars.

There is a link on here to pull it and replace it, but the OP stated one might want to try and clean it.

Steering Wheel instructions

I went with the pull and clean part. The switches themselves were not dirty. But I DID notice that pulling it and "reseating" the connector on the wheel did improve operation.

Where can I get a replacement if I do need one? I've searched the web but can't find one...
