Hi, I've a 97 maxima with a bose head unit. I followed madchef's instructions on how to fix bose head units but I realized that the howto is for 95 and 96 bose. Does anybody know what resistors to check for the 97-99 bose head units. I followed these instructions.

My $0.02 here: Just get a new HU. It's not worth your time to fix the Bose HU. The new HU sounds much much better than Blose.

My Blose HU was out (CD Err) and I am very happy with my new set up right now.

 

I will second that notion. I replaced my '97 Bose with an Alpine and am so glad I did. I was worried that it wouldn't sound as good, but it sounds MUCH better. I would have changed it long ago had I known.
