i was at best buy and bought some 4x6s because thats what the computer said my car called for and when i took the whole bose mechanism out,it didnt fit for ****,it was a big akward opening,what dop i need to do?

 

 

Sorry about the blank post, I'm new to the site. Those door speakers are the wrong size. I had a similar problem with my 89 SE with Bose. The stock speakers in the enclosure are 3 1/2'', but the mounting ring has a three-bolt pattern, as opposed to the four-bolt that aftermarket speakers have. I got a deal on some Boston Acoustics 3 1/2's, so I modified the enclosure by drilling extra holes in it to accept the new bolt pattern. I've heard that Nissan makes a replacement enclosure that uses a 6 1/2'' speaker. If possible, return the 4x6's and get the 6 1/2's. they'll probably sound better, too.
