Need some advice on speakers. Sorry had a bad search.

Well I am thinking of getting some Apline Spr-17c speakers to put in my front doors since the bose speakers blew. Before you say anything bad about them keep in mind that a friend of mine can get them for $60/pair. They are regularly $150/pair. I have a Pioneer AVIC-N2 deck so I am sure I will need an amp to run a decent set of speakers. I had the Bose speakers connected to a PAC OEM2 converter and it held well until the speakers blew. I ditched the PAC and right now my N2 is with Pioneer getting the flex cable upgrade so now's a good time to rip everything out.

Do you advise these 6.5s in the rear?

Will I have clearance problems with these in the front doors?

What kind of cheap 6.5s do you recommend and what amp? (keep in mind that I'm getting a deal on these Alpines) I was thinking of getting a 4-channel 400w rms amp.

Thanks for the help. I have searched but it really didn't help.

They are cheap, get'em. They will fit in the front, thought might require an mdf bracket/ring made.
