Good Amp Locations

Where do you guys mount your amp. I heard it was bad to mount the amp on the box. Is it true? Where do you guys mount your amps? Looking for some ideas. I have a 4th gen. Putting 2 12s in the trunk. Doing the install tonight. Any input will be very helpful. Thanks

In my first Max, i had them mounted to the metal seat brace that runs from side to side, behind the back of the seat.

Now my amps are too big to fit there
