When my dad bought the maxima in 97 he had the nissan dealer install a cd changer. They installed a prestige 10 disc changer, and the sound quality has been bad ever since. The sound isnt clear, it kinda sounds like i have the treble all the way down but its on full, and when theres bass, i hear a staticky sound comin from the speakers. The fm radio stations even sound better than the cd changer. What can i do to clear up this problem? thanks

Install an in dash cd player instead
