I took the rear speakers out of my system because I wanted more bass to come through the holes.

I kept hearing stock or near stock systems that seemed to sound better and have more depth than mine. I spent lots of time tweaking crossovers and tweeter placement.

Last weekend I put the rear speakers back in, just powered by the HU, no amp.

Viola, new depth and much better sound. They are barely on at all, but they did make a difference.

Yeah, I always like a little bit of rear fill. Definitely the way to go.
