I checked all the speaker wires and pluged them to the correct now the sub is working but not as loud it used to work. before when the bose is in full volume the side mirrors rattled not nothing rattles at all and the bass is a little distored, any one have any idea why this happen my new headunit is a Clarion VRX765VD
i need the bass bad so please help me out guys

also someone told me to unplug the front channel wires one at a time and if the sub got louder change the + and - on that wire is it true?

Sub is probably seeing a fuller range of frequencies than the boses' "cut a frequency here and there" Try adjust the EQ if yoru new HU has one.

i changed + - on both front channels now the sub is even louder and the sounds are crisp
