I'm doing same exact thing he said. I orderd the 7" TFT from Redmax then today I just bought the Panasonic CQ-DVR909U Head unit to put in the pop out. The HU i bought has DVD player and RCA Aux Video/Audio input and Video output. So I am going to hook up my PS2 into Aux and then thats it. As for the PS2 I'm thinking of putting that into the back Arm rest (yes i'm cutting a hole on both sides so air can get through). And inverter is going to go in the trunk. For you people with the screens where else can you hook up the power for the screen?

yeah i recommend a new headunit with aux in; i personally bought jensen cause they were after all the searching the only company that i didn't have to buy an add-on adapter for $100.

And like what maxi96 said, i'm hooking up LCD to the stereo "hot" wire (sorry i'm tired so i went lazy) but didn't think of the switch , so hey you learn something new everyday

anyways , what i'm putting in mine is a 5.6" LCD , Jensen CD-4010k deck, computer w/mp3s and winamp visualizations , and xbox...running all the switchs to my center console...dear lord its a lot of work , i'll post pics once i'm done with it

but good luck with yours , just get a new h/u , ebay = pretty cheap

tafan321... care to share any details on your in-car PC? I'm in the process of doing this as well... maybe we can compare notes... drop me an email if you want.

What software are you using on the PC to play MP3s? How is it wired through the LCD, video out on the PC? What resolution are you running at and how does it look? What are you using for an input device?

How are you switching the video between the PC and the Xbox?

I'll be running winamp with the R2 vis. plugin. Its wired with just RCA composite out of the video card (ATI Radeon 7000); can't tell you the res cause i'm having problems with the screen being backwards ; what do you mean by input device? if for audio then i'm just using my Jensen deck that has aux-in ; if you are talking about video then my LCD supports 2 video-ins , thats how i'm switching between xbox and cpu

cool... by input device I mean are you using a mouse, keyboard, remote, etc...

how does it look through the video-out w/RCA?

i'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the R2 vis plug-in. what does this do?
